This session complements and develops the session in Seoul – “The practice of law in the “gig” economy: the “Uberisation” of legal services in the alternative business structures – what will it mean for lawyers?” Part 2 of this session from Seoul focuses on what the “Uberisation” of the legal profession means for:
i) lawyers, including professional and ethical considerations and the wellbeing of lawyers
(ii) law firms, including their structures and management (including anti-money laundering concerns); and
.iii) the regulation of the profession
